Agrorevolution, Mayak, Vinkon, Ecosystems, and Rise-Agro are five community taxpayers run by a Ukrainian citizen with Swiss roots, Peter Thomson Mitchell. Today a meeting of members of the commission on filling the local budget, legalization of wages and land issues with a representative of these enterprises - Khoruzhuk SV took place. The company's management has big plans not only to expand its own business, fill the land bank, increase jobs, but also to support social initiatives of the community and is interested in the development of settlements.
This year the company plans to implement a pilot project - to sow onions on a land plot of 4 hectares, next year - to increase crops to 100 hectares. This type of vegetable growing requires irrigation of lands and clearing of the river at own expense and construction of artesian wells is not an utopia idea, but real plans of the company.
Serhiy Vitaliyovych shared business ideas on growing hazelnuts: today in Silivka they have planted 26 hectares, but this is not a walnut garden, but a nursery. It is planned to sow up to 5 thousand walnut trees. For the needs of the village council, Serhiy Vitaliyovych immediately offered up to 200 trees - "This is the minimum we can do for the community," he said.
As for growing paulownia, Serhiy Vitaliyovych calls it a utopia, because paulownia is not suitable for growing in our climate, it incurs high costs for treatment against pests and various diseases inherent in this plant. Of the 215 paulownia planted by the company - only 162 took root in the fall, as they overwintered - spring will show.
Unlike other landowners working in the Konoplyansk territorial community - the company 100% paid off with its shareholders, provided other types of assistance, which are provided for in the lease of land (cultivation of gardens, supply of drinking water, etc.).
Finally, Serhiy Vitaliyovych, on behalf of the company, expressed a desire to take an active part in providing community education institutions with antiseptics, protective masks and detergents, which is extremely necessary in a pandemic.
